DUO STUDIO ARCHITECTS was founded in 2019 by architects Petros Stavrakis and Clio Neokleous. According to their academic background they are holding a Bachelor’s Degree (5-years Diploma) in Architecture from Frederick University of Cyprus in 2015 and then they received a full scholarship from China Scholarship Council (CSC) for Master Degree in Architecture Engineering (M.Eng) at the Chongqing University of China during the period of 2015-2017.
During their stay in China, they both engaged with diverse individuals of various nationalities and cultures, participated in seminars led by globally renowned architects, such as MVRDV architects and more, collaborated on large-scale projects as part of a team, and actively took part in architectural competitions. In 2016, Petros earned an honorable mention award as a part of a team for the International Green Building Design in Qianhai Shenzhen, China. They not only broadened their knowledge but also enriched their experiences through extensive travel to different countries and visits to prominent large-scale architectural structures. 
Upon returning to Cyprus, Petros worked for six years of professional experience in a local architectural firm, initially as an Intern and later as a Project Architect, contributing to residential design, medium-scale projects, and master planning.
At the same time, Clio worked as an Intern for a year in a local architectural firm and subsequently spent nearly four years in a commercial company as an Architect and Project Manager, focusing on commercial project renovations.
Since 2019, DUO STUDIO ARCHITECTS has been actively engaged in diverse projects and competitions, earning recognition with an honorable mention award for the Oslo Cultural Center Competition. The firm's vision is centered on introducing innovative ideas and designs to the architectural field of Cyprus, aiming to promote a modern and contemporary aesthetic through their projects. As architects, their commitment is to provide to the clients with high-quality services and designs, underscored by professionalism and effective teamwork.
Their design philosophy mainly revolves around the modern-minimal style, coupled with a contemporary approach that seamlessly integrates with the environment of each project. Utilizing their preferred materials—concrete, wood, and stone—they strive to evoke a sense of naturally luxurious comfort.
